This lovely playing instrument has had solder work completed and though not labeled Galaxy on the bell, this is considered the Galaxy model. Valves are freshly hand lapped feel great and all slides are detailed and smooth. 60% lacquer with lots of scratches and solder work completed on the bell to 3rd valve body brace and the tuning slide braces. Horn has seen trauma and required bell work on the flair, taper and tail,
tuning slide has been stuck in the past and shows removal marks on the inside of the crook, now she’s fixed and Ready To Play! Case is nice but is missing the lock tab on the left latch, horn comes with a Bach 5B which fits the receiver properly.

Horn is dis-assembled and inspected, soaked in an organic de-greasing solution and scrubbed
Body, valves and components are treated in an organic chem clean with Tesch products (Tesch is recommended by
NAPBIRT

Hand-lapped valves and chambers (This process can take up to an hour)
Complete detail of all components, hot water scrubbed and prepped for assembly
Valves aligned, pads and springs replaced as needed
Play tested and final inspected before listing for sale
***Clean
your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and
have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years. Vintage
cases are all disinfected, cleaned and sanitized but there may be a
residual horn smell in any old case.

Returns for Play Ready Instruments, Parts or Accessories:
We do not accept returns or offer trial periods to try horns listed
here on Ebay, please come to Colorado to try instruments, we’ll have fun
talking about horns! If you have any questions or problems with your
instrument, please contact UYB first for any issues if needing to return
an instrument for being not as described. Facilitate a quick return
process with cordial communication, returns started without
communication will take much longer to process. If your instrument is
damaged during shipping, you must take a picture of the box with
external damage, the packaging and the damage to the case and or
instrument. The shipper will not offer any compensation unless these
steps are taken. UpYourBrass will facilitate a return shipping label and
will issue a refund as quickly as possible upon return of the damaged
instrument if the need arises.
